This is Sparta

Much has been said of the movie 300.  Most of the comments and articles concern the cutting-edge graphics and the visual styling of the film.  If I had any complaints about it it would be the Persian king's voice sounded like the same guy who does the monster truck ads on late-night television and I had a preference for the nine inch nails music used in the trailer.

That said, reading on it I discovered an important idea for a business model for training.  Rather than train the stunt people separately from the actors, all the training both the physical and acting training were combined for both groups.  This built a stronger working relationship between the two groups and also allowed members of one group to share their expertise in their field with the members of the other.

Having been charged with training various groups within companies, I can envision taking this concept and applying it to the graphic field. It could be utilized to give different departments within an organization a clearer concept of what another department's daily function is within that organization in relation to their own.
